Hello!! My name is Melody and I am the face behind the words. I am a self taught crocheter who loves to create handmade items for my friends and family! But before I jump into sharing my projects and creations I would like to tell you a little more about me and why I became a crochet lover!
I am the mother of 2 beautiful girls. They are most definitely the center of my world. I also have a wonderful husband who supports my crochet hobby (which could possibly be considered an addiction). I love being outdoors, playing music, and spending time with my family at our travel trailer.
I set out to learn crochet when my oldest daughter was a toddler. I quickly discovered that children lose a lot of things! And one of those things were mittens. However, I discovered that crochet mittens were probably not the best place to start for a newbie so I started with the basics.
Today I can tackle all kinds of patterns, regardless of the skill level. I never set out to create the perfect item. My goal is to continue learning new skills while crocheting new creations.
