As a beginner crocheter I loved to crochet beanies. They are so easy and satisfying. It is always nice to know that something you crocheted is keeping someone warm and cozy!
As my skills improved I began to search for beanies that presented a challenge. A simple double crochet beanie is a fabulous gift but I wanted to take it one step further. I thought it would be really awesome to use a variety of stitches to create different textures and looks.
